New College Berkeley offers a unique year-round program and seminars that provide a rich and diverse curriculum for continuing education in the San Francisco Bay Area. These programs are specifically designed to equip lay persons for Christian living in their homes, work, churches, and relationships. The emphasis in all of our programs is on thinking and living as followers of Jesus Christ.

Our programs are deeply integrative of Christian faith and particular subjects, and of class material with the participants' daily lives. Our faculty are well-qualified teachers in their fields, as well as strong Christians wrestling along with their students with the application of course material to their lives. Over and over again we are told that it is the person of the teacher that brings home the significance of the subject, through discipleship and community.
