Beauty & Resistance: Following Christ in this Political Moment

US missiles target civilian targets in the name of Jesus, Christ’s sermon on the mount is vilified as heretical, and a president who boasts that “a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again,” continues to earn the trust of large swaths of the American Church. What has happened? How did we get here? What am I to learn, who do I listen to, and how do I stay rooted in - and faithful to - Jesus in such a time as this?

Join Bay Area colleagues and community in a conversation led by Jonathan Pan Walton, a Christian leader with extensive experience in the realm of political discipleship among congregational communities throughout the US. The evening will consist of presentations and round-table discussions among peers. The hope is to come away with new insights and practical handles on how to live faithfully to the gospel, both personally and collectively, in the communities with which you serve.
