We're living in a tumultuous time when we all are hoping to receive God's guidance. Perhaps in the coming new year of 2026 you might be ready for a fresh experience of God's grace? You also may have heard the term "spiritual direction" and wondered what it means. Our good news is that New College Berkeley is offering a new opportunity to sample spiritual direction over a five-month period, as part of a small group committed to spiritual friendship, contemplative listening, and prayer.

These newly formed groups of about four directees will meet monthly for five months in Berkeley or online under the guidance of an experienced spiritual director who will help everyone attune to God's presence and the work of the Holy Spirit in each person's life. The groups may continue to meet in fall 2026 if desired by the participants. Group members will help determine whether meetings will be held in person and/or online.

Dates and Times: January - May 2026, 2-hour meetings, monthly day/time determined by group members with their spiritual director

Spiritual Directors:  Experienced spiritual directors lead the groups and participate in supervision with Susan Phillips (PhD).

Tuition:  $300 for 5-meeting program ($60/month) + $30 registration fee
